About "Advent Conspiracy Song (Worship Fully, Spend Less, Give More, Love All)"

In 2006, five pastors imagined a better Christmas practice for their own communities. Today, Advent Conspiracy* is a global movement of people and churches resisting the cultural Christmas narrative of consumption by choosing a revolutionary Christmas through Worshipping Fully, Spending Less, Giving More and Loving All.

Composer Bronwyn Edwards is not directly affiliated with the Advent Conspiracy movement. She is the music director at Fauntleroy Church, UCC in West Seattle. In December 2016, Fauntleroy Church participated in the four tenets of the Advent Conspiracy movement: worshipping fully, spending less, giving more and loving all.

The Advent Conspiracy Song was composed for the congregation to sing weekly through Advent. On each occasion, different combinations of the verses were sung that most supported each tenet.
