About "Katrina Dawn"

This piece was originally titled "Florida" and was inspired by a drive from New Orleans to Destin, Florida in the aftermath of the hurricane.  The destruction we witnessed along the road was shocking, resulting in a piece of music swelling with emotion and turmoil.

The harmony and key changes are frequent, so I included the chords above; they may also be useful if, for example, a guitar accompaniment is added.

This piece is one of my favorites. It's for medium-advanced pianists.
